Transportation Plus Program

In partnership with the NJ Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCPP), PEI Kids provides family support services for children in foster care and their biological families. Our transportation program provides more than 30,000 miles of assisted transportation each year for children in foster care to access medical, therapeutic and counseling appointments, youth programs, and community- based services that promote well-being.

In coordination with Mercer County Dept. of Human Services, we also transport family members for visits with justice-system-involved youth housed in residential facilities. Referrals for our family support services programs come through DCPP, Family Court, and Mercer County. Transportation requests are also accepted for other youth-serving agencies that support DCP&P clients.
